I believe that an organised space is a happy place…

With everything that we have going on in life these days, anything that can help slow us down and reduce the ‘to do’ list has to be a good thing.

Through the years I have found that the more organised I am, the more I can handle what comes next.

I have always loved interiors and am heavily inspired by the Balearic island of Ibiza and the coastline near my home in Cornwall. I love a laid back, comfortable style, natural materials and a minimalist, not trying ‘too hard’ approach.

This has lead me to unclutter my own home and lead a more minimalist lifestyle. It is always a work in progress, but I aim to only keep what we love or use regularly.

The kitchen was my biggest problem - It was massively overwhelming and I was never sure where to start - so left it until last.

I can safely say, the simple, yet time consuming task of organising my kitchen has had a big impact on my life.

I now know where everything is - What I have in the cupboards (even at the back!) Nothing falls out when I open a door - Plus it all looks amazing!

We bring things into our kitchen like no other room of the house. Constantly thinking up what meals we can cook, what snacks the kids will eat, what cleaning products we have, have we got what we need to do the washing, how we can stock up on things that might help us to be healthier -  The list goes on and on!

Anything that makes that process a little easier, and means you free up a little more of your precious time to do other things, has to be good for you!
